Hello, Just a quick question. Who won the fly fisherman or lady of the year contest? Would somebody please post it ,so I know who won. Thanks, Bill the mailman

It was won by the representative from "Casting for Recovery". I apologize that I did not catch her last name but it was a pleasure to watch her in the finals. She can really fish. She used a sucker spawn in an egg color with a gold bead. The other two finalists had mop fly variants.

Anita Coulton and yes she was very impressive .

Hello, thanks for the up date on fisherman of the year. I see it was a women and hopefully this will inspire more women to take up the sport. Bill the mailman

She was the 2nd woman to win Angler of the Year, FYI. Women remain the fastest growing segment of the fly fishing industry and have for many years now. Anita is a part time guide on the upper Delaware, working for Joe D's business.
