Crappie day...

Streams are still seasonably low so no trouting for now. Decided to toss a small mister twister grub around a local pond and it turned into a crappie day ;)

Caught about 30 and all of them - all of them between 7" and 10" - in the same cove. 95% of pond was dead. Its true about crappie: once you find them its one after the other. Water is still chilly - only about 40F.

Some serious storms came thru around 5. Lightning, wind, heavy rain and even some hail. Lost power for 7 hrs. Not unexpected when you go from 70F to 40F in a few hours.
2017 trout total: 53
