RRTU FLY TYING NIGHTS - NOV. DEC.

Postby jake// on October 20th, 2015, 9:46 pm

Here are the dates for our upcoming tying nights.
November 2
November 23
December 7
December 28

The location is 200 Walnut ave. in Cranford in the Community Center
The time is 7-9 pm.

Come join us for a laid back evening with the RRTU gang. The meetings are free and open to all. All tying levels are welcome. We have instructors to help the new people and we have donated tools and materials. We usually have a fly fishing DVD playing and free coffee and donuts. It's a great opportunity to pick up some tying tips or just have a cup of coffee and talk about the big one that got away. Hope to see you there.

How are you guys fixed for turkey or pheasant tail feathers?
OMG! You were asked to leave the press conference?
I guess you are only important in your mind.

We could use some turkey and pheasant tail feathers. The pheasant tail nymph is the most popular pattern that we teach the beginners. The turkey is used for wing cases on some other nymphs.

PM me an address to send them.

My veterinarian is a hunter and gave me a bunch of pheasant tail feathers. The turkey comes from a road kill over a year ago and have been cured in borax.
