The only way to protect our waters from harmful activity is through citizen action. Don't count on state or local oversight and enforcement without public pressure. I am learning from experience with Green Brook in Watchung.

Thanks for the replies. I fished a #10 black Wooly Bugger (no bead) with a #14 beadhead Psyhco-Prince dropper on the North Branch of the Raritan River for about an hour and a half this afternoon with no results. What about style of WB? I like the way Tim Flager ties them (see link attached) but maybe with a conehead and a couple of strips of flash tied along the sides. I had a Sage ESN 10-6/3wt in my hand at Tight Lines Sage casting clinic last week. Super light, well balanced. But $900 to flip a sighter 25 feet -- C'mon!
