Re: Big Flatbrook 11/1
Fished that section for years if a spin fisherman walked in they were immediately sent packing, Many fly fisherman have not continued to fish that section since the change which affected the monitoring of the rules. As far as keeping over the limit when it was fly only I fished it three times a week...

Re: Big Flatbrook 11/1
The section from Rt 206 to the roy bridge was fly only but with the option to take a limit of fish which few people did. It was changed to No kill and all tackle artificials only allowing spinning equipment. This section needs restoration and back to fly only. The new regulation ruined a great secti...

Re: Big Flatbrook 11/1
When worm containers and power bait jars abound in the new regulation stretch YOU DO THE MATH. It was much better as fly only the new regulation is a MAJOR MISTAKE...Hate all YOU WANT

Parking at the Hatchery is for buying trout. The other parking by the Hatchery is for Warren County Rod and Gun Members only all others will be towed. The restored area has its own Public Parking.

Big Flat Brook
I have fished the fly only ( Now No Kill) area of the Flat Brook for many years and this was a first. Caught a Golden trout about 11 inches in the catch and release area.I know of clubs closer to the Delaware but unaware of any above 206. Highly unlikely it made up from the lower river.

Lightenup....You posted native brook trout are tasty and want to throw them on the Barbecue NOT ME and Rusty Spinner I do not appreciate your insults they are Juvenile. As far as pay and fish what ever floats your boat. You may have paid to fish in the Hacthery for a small fee but not my style.

You will starve before there are enough if any in there. I'am sure the boy scouts are thrilled with a six foot wide puddle to fish in.

Re: My First Land Locked Salmon?
The eye is too far forward for a landlock, tail is to square and the telltale red spots therefore I believe it is a Brown Trout.
