Re: Ramapo River Characteristics
My firm is working with Dresner Robin Engineering on a river restoration for the mighty 'Po starting immediately below Lenape Lane and ending at the Railroad crossing. This forum's setup doesn't allow me to post up the design as it is in .pdf. Let me see if I can save some pages as .jpg files. Hard...

Re: musky restoration
My firm will be invited to bid on this. It is disappointing to me that no actual river restoration work will happen. The plan for the river is to simply remove the old and dangerous concrete diving platform in the river in Hackettstown's park. No in-stream habitat restoration. well that sucks. the ...

MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE NJ FISH AND GAME COUNCIL Central Region Office Robbinsville, New Jersey November 12, 2025 Things to keep in mind for 2026… We are reducing the creel from 4 to 2 on rivers and streams from June 1 until the preseason closure. If you put in in Deposit, where exactly are you taking out? If your doing drift boats. there are 2 spots I do on the PA side. 1 is on the west branch still . its about 2 miles up from the town of Hancock . the other is on the main stem about 2 miles down stream . If I float down on my kayak. I usua...

Re: West Branch Upper Delaware Wild Browns
The other issue is with the former Hale Eddy boat ramp. I haven't floated down the WB in years because of this. As someone with a drift boat, I'd fish the Main from April until usually the first week in June or whenever it got too hot. Then I'd move to the WB. I'd normally put the boat in at Styles...

Re: West Branch Upper Delaware Wild Browns

He agreed that the intense pressure is changing trout behavior, and even during hatches, we are seeing far fewer trout rise to flies. I watched in horror last late April and early May when I spe...
