Rusty,
I am a member already. I am interested to pursue if we can get a group together.
It would be welcome alternative to TU's fly tying and FF 101 routines.........

Re: New fly tiers
I would start with a Green Weenie,
It does not get much more simple:
>put hook into vice
>thread bobbin
>put on foundation
>tie on chenille
>Whip finish.

I have not been back in there for a long time (5 years?),
Is in there still an opportunity to chase some wild brookies, or perhaps even an wild brown? Anyone have any current info?
Many thanks!

Anybody know?
Is there still public fishing access to the Musky behind the former Cassia Grill Restaurant (now Willie's Wieners) on US 57?

Brett's thoghts from Rangeley Sport Shop
It most applies just as well to New Jersey! "On my walk in the woods today I stopped for a moment and rested from the concerns of the week. The trees swayed in the moist breeze as the late season snow fell to the ground. It occurred that the CoViD 19 and travel bans and fears around us had absolutel...

A Quote from Brett, Rangeley Sport Shop - March 2020
Refreshing thoughts on what's to come: "On my walk in the woods today I stopped for a moment and rested from the concerns of the week. The trees swayed in the moist breeze as the late season snow fell to the ground. It occurred that the CoViD 19 and travel bans and fears around us had absolutely no ...

Re: Fly storage
Just floated the Beaverhead a couple of weeks with a guide. He had a very simple solution: a Maxwell House Coffee Can for his nymphs, all ten thousand of them... Made things really easy! I am adopting the the same system, for my nyphs, just on a smaller scale. No more putting them all inn order unti...

Re: I Need Some New Waders
I have used the Redington Sonic Pro for 4 years. No complaints, had gotten them back then from Shannon's.
Great zip-up waders, and a good value. Highly Recommended. They come in a good selection of sizes. Pocket's are good as well.

Re: Looking for Help
That's exactly what happened to me, except, I had cought bottom and had to break-off, and never bothered to re-tie, and made it into the end of the day for me.
Not a good way to justify to buy a new rod.
Learning the hard way!

Looking for Help
A few days ago I lost the two top sections of my 9ft fly rod (green) at the Flatbrook, along the path between the Three Bridges Parking area anddown stream to the large pool before getting to the Rifle Range.
If any one happened to spot it, would you mind calling 973-222-4559 ? Thanks much.
