Fishing in Yellowstone backcountry, Grebe Lake, out of the tree's walks a anger, asks to see my Yellowstone license and I point to it on my vest. Out of habit I used the vinyl pin on thingy. His response was, "What a great idea, we should do that here". I guess the grass is always greener... :mrgreen:

Want to get out at some point soon but will probably head to PA to fish I think I will be doing the same. Perhaps. There have been some cases In Hunterdon County for cats, one had to be euthanized, several feral cats were found infected, more are being tested. This will not be going away anytime soon as bird migrations are just beginning. Certainly not the time to take up bird watching as a hobby.

With the ice gone, White Perch are readily available in just about any creek/river running into a bay. Fun catching, good eating; took home 5 yesterday afternoon thanks to some short lived nice weather.

They are a good place to get youngsters started. I was more curious about similar endeavors on streams/rivers. Closest thing I know about is for the West Branch of the Ausable if you use a guide from the Hungry Trout for their 'Dream Mile'.

I'm surprised no one has started a 'pay to fish' set up, similar to the pheasant/chukar/quail hunting preserves. Used to be a few for private lakes/ponds around the state, and there was Eldridge Preserve in the Catskills, but it's gone upscale.
