Re: Spruce Run

We have all been ignorant before No one is perfect. The darkness is another thing. Don't talk about peoples families or business. Ju...

Re: Spruce Run

OK, so no one on the other board responded, maybe here. Some work is happening to the Creek in Glen Gardner. Who is doing it and I hope it looks better than the start when they are done. Those large abutments are hideous. i doubt I'll hear from Rusty after the thrashing he got on NEFF  , don...

Re: West Branch Flow from Reservoir to Drop to ZERO

I think it would do very little in any negative way as water temps are ideal this time of yr....Had they done something like this in the summer , it would be disastrous!!!

Would love to fish lordville when its under a G!!!

I often wondered if that stream along 523 had any fish in it. Chub and sunfishwater? Any smallies?
It's actually void of life, other than small baitfish...not even worth it to pull over and look...unless ur a birder

Re: invasive species

Well, just make sure to harvest any you catch. From what I can gather, Vietnamese folks here in the DC area do love to catch and eat them and consider them a delicacy. It seems that some of our native born anglers prefer to return them to the water as a game fish. The same thing happens with the fl...

I deff like the concept, as long as someone keeps up with so it doesn't become river debris....jerseys flybrary could be filled with nothing but pheasant tail variations, wet or dry!!!

Re: CBS video on fly fishing's growing popularity during Q-tine

So when you leave this "dirty river state" to fish the West Branch please be advised that Deposit NY on the banks of the West branch was founded by the logging industry which is not exactly environmentally friendly. I referring to chemicals when I state dirty ;) . The Musky in the past was li...
