I used to catch huge blue gill in Round Valley. They were about the size of small dinner plates. Haven't seen them that big there lately tho. Does anyone know a pond or lake or reservoir that has huge ones? My son is going for the State record :lol: BT Their still there....go all the in back ...opp...

It was a great trip complete with the obligatory nuisance bear in the campground most nights. I need to download pix off my phone and will upload a bunch here. Those that are Facebook friends have already seen them there. A wild, native brook trout behind every rock for the most part, great scenery...

Just spent a week up north...the lower east was fishable for two days and fish were caught, then it was all the lower west and upper main for me...a few guys fished the upper willow after sunday nights rains... I refuse to fish with the crowds on the upper west this time of yr... God help nj I floa...

Just spent a week up north...the lower east was fishable for two days and fish were caught, then it was all the lower west and upper main for me...a few guys fished the upper willow after sunday nights rains...
I refuse to fish with the crowds on the upper west this time of yr...

I've fished it below there in the parks. I wouldn't consider Analomink upper, that would be above the confluence of Paradise Creek. I don't believe there is any public access above that junction. With regard to fish equivalent to WB Trout, not going to find them there. Some wild fish, mainly stocke...

The best part of those particular boots, is the bottoms can be replaced in five minutes... smart purchase tm!!

Im on my second generation of that style and the first pair got me five yrs with multiple bottom changes and swaps

Pretty sweet when the bycatch is the main catch!! We did that on the lower musky yesterday....too many stockies to count with a few fall stocks, aaaand then some nice smallies to 16" , a 15" walleye and a pic from a fellow angler of a ten lb channel cat...as all know the weather was perfect!!! A true "rain jacket" will be rubberized to fend off any and all rain. That's not what you are talking about, you're talking about Gortex which will hold off some rain, but will eventually get soaked through. Two different animals.
