Kronk - very cool! That's a great stretch to fish, lots of good fish in there. Taking my 20 year old there in a week or so for a quick day trip.

Go w a black blue then, flake is important

Buy a Chatterbait in chartruce w a gold blade. Roll it just above the surface, its deadly for largemouth.

Thats a fish you release, beautiful fish and a 30 minute fight is awesome. That is a breeding fish that should have been released.

Thanks guys, I am a former BASS tournament guy who gets the stressed out fish game. Will be cognizant of that and practice, practice and practice more on the panfish to get my casting down. Can wait for the fall to go back to trout.
