Re: Dredging Up Stockies
how is that button clip for the net? I use a telephone-cord-style spiral lanyard. I might put together a delrin clip since i find those are really tight and still easy to take off.

Re: Flows
There's a growing movement to approach Morris County Parks about removing the Kay Pond dam, a dam they rehabilitated not that many years ago......it completely wastes that river in summer and all the wild trout flee looking for thermal refuge when they shouldn't need it. All because of that dam. ho...

Re: Flows
hacklebarney is surely pretty. lots of fun fishing the whole stretch from rinehart to trout brook. But IMO on the good days there's too many anglers around for my liking. ive tried fishing the park upstream of it. but the trails are not as angler-friendly since there's a steep drop some of the time....

Re: 15" wild brown
Well done. Caught in NJ? Yes and in one of our stocked waters which begs the question of why stock it if it can produce wild trout of this size? they have removed some stockings from a few streams/stretches lately, i hope they continue especially in the smaller creeks that dont even offer a good st...

Re: WTS 5/3/2020
Wet wading is like cheating My dad was wearing neoprenes yesterday, also originally had a sweater on. But took that off soon. Even with leaky boots, he sweat a bunch. Was pretty warm with my breathables too. When water is chilly but air is hot, i like to wear a sweater so that while i have cold leg...

I had to look it up too, but it seems Garden Hackle was being satirical to the fear of windmills.

Re: pot belly rainbow
Yeah, from that view, its a real monster. How long was the biggest brown and how long was that rainbow? I didnt take time to measure fish that day, but the net is 24 inches from tip to the beginning of the handle, the long way. ill have to see what is is from side to side which is shorter in dimens...

Re: pot belly rainbow
That rainbow is a real pig although that brown looks like a good fighter with that big tail. Which one fought harder? that Rainbow hands down; it had runs and peeled drag, wasnt even in fast flowing water. Had me laughing and in denial when just expecting brownies. https://i.postimg.cc/bNn09s02/042...
