Son of a gun, so now you can buy weed legally in NJ? I had heard that they passed some legislation a few years ago but implementation was slowed down. Re: Hoffman's Crossing Bridge

A simple sign stating pvt property, advance at your own risk, would take care of the ambulance chasers. Perhaps NJ laws differ. I had 250' on the WB Ausable and left it open to folks, but the slobs leaving hooks, line, etc caused me to rethink. When our dog came in trailing some mono with a hook in ...

Re: White Perch

I have heard of some 2 lbers taken on blood worms, I tie up some chartreuse mop flies and pinch a split shot at the hook eye. Weather has been miserable since Christmas, hoping for some sun soon. It is a short walk for me to a stream that feeds Barnegat Bay and also a lot of public land along the ba...

Re: White Perch

We usually start to seem them around now as the Stripers move south and again in spring, but that is probably because no one targets them in winter.

I caught one in Rangeley Lake Maine a long, long time ago. I have thought of trying Aeroflex one day.

Re: PA Hemlock decline

Every pine on my property is either down, dead or dying. All look like they have been hit by a machine gun. The state asked for infestation reports, sent in several, never heard from them. Doesn't matter any more.

It was an historic summer for Fluke, still hot, especially from the beach. With all the shorts, next year should be better. Stripers are not far off, the bait is on the way, off of Ocean Grove beach, the size of a football field. Not my picture. https://www.johnentwistlephotography.com/Vid...

There is a canoe/kayak rental at Atsion Lake, they might be able to suggest other spots.

Re: Rancocas creek (again)

I know of Medford Park, Laurel and Vincentown pond/lake, with public access. F&W has an online interactive map or list, with species list. Atsion Lake in Wharton SF is about a 20 minute drive from Medford; pickerel, bass, perch, sunfish, catfish. Any cranberry bog on state land will have pickerel in...
