Could the rising fish not be creek chubs, smallmouth bass, rock bass and sunfish that are so prevalent in the North Branch ?

The bug hatch was insane at Duke Island Park on the Raritan river. Heard they were stocking already, maybe that's what these are, fun nonetheless.
