Re: harvesting trout ?
While im 100% C&R I have thought about keeping a few this year myself. There are couple streams by me that wont holdover anyway so if someone doesnt eat one they will be dead come summer anyways and just be raccoon food.

Felt real strange purposely sticking it underwater the first few times but now it comes natural. I get...

i cant stress how slippery that shit can be. I stay away from it in any weather where getting wet is a problem. STUDS!!!! Fresh studs! When I fished the Salmon River more the lower end of the river was similar. Lots of flat rock that the current just raced over!! If you lost your footing you were g...

Re: guess where Im @ on the Musky
Upgrade to a newer smart phone! Most now are water proof up to 2m and 30 mins. Not that I would dunk them on purpose but can easily survive the accidental splash and drop.

I call that shannons water also because he donates plenty of trout in that stretch besides his own private club water Just checking! There are plenty of Sh...

Most of the rivers out there dropped back down to very fishable levels quickly after that storm. Lets me know the ground can handle much more water this time of the year!

Re: Opening Day with Joe Brooks
Hello (new member), I was at Saxton Falls when Joe Brooks was there. I also remember Governor Meyner several times. In grammer school I would take a bus to Paterson Rod and Gun for flies. At that time I was a dark hendrickson/royal wulff fisherman, after bait fishing first light. Regards Bob Welcom...

Hello all, my name is Ken, handle is Kennyp2339, long time lurker, first time poster, and I hate to say that this first post might be against the grain here. For starters, I lived my whole life in Sussex Co, enlisted in the USCG in the early 2000's, but ended coming back to the county because that'...
