Garden State Trout

the west branch was between 2300 and 2500 during the day of our float and the river was rising all day due to rain. it was 3200 on saturday for the 1 bug tournament

Streamer fishing or waiting for fish to start feeding on top

Rusty spinner and I floated the west branch last friday and did well but the water is HIGH!

Hows the new water fishing? Any one checking it out

Will be out with friends early fishing is plus but the best part is the bsing and drinking beer in the early morning

Fished the southern PA opener. Never seen so many people fishing. Fishing was okay the first 30 minutes got 4 bows and then the bite just died.

So did you guys follow the truck

Good push of rain coming today. Should help move all the fresh stockies around

Fished it last fall from reservoir upstream to the powerlines...nada...not even a follow. However way, way upstream in the headwaters on some cty land caught a few wild browns. That's sad-10 years ago, you could always find wild browns, some up to 18-20 inches as well as a smattering of holdover bo...

Never had any luck in that lower section. More in the middle of the creek

Thats a nice rainbow! Even the regular PA rainbows are nice fish. Congrats on the catch

stocking truck chasing in the gorge thats just plain wrong

For wild trout i would agree its the best river we have. Got a nice wild brown there last week.

Should make for a good 2019 trout year. Lets hope the rains keep up

When the Raritan gets over 80 degrees in the summer whats the point of the trout then
