the west branch was between 2300 and 2500 during the day of our float and the river was rising all day due to rain. it was 3200 on saturday for the 1 bug tournament

Fished the southern PA opener. Never seen so many people fishing. Fishing was okay the first 30 minutes got 4 bows and then the bite just died.

Fished it last fall from reservoir upstream to the powerlines...nada...not even a follow. However way, way upstream in the headwaters on some cty land caught a few wild browns. That's sad-10 years ago, you could always find wild browns, some up to 18-20 inches as well as a smattering of holdover bo...
