Re: Thank Shannons :

They have been eating though...and are very easily caught. So fat they don't fight...makes 'em easy to get in the bucket or the end of a stringer ;) Well they are pre programmed to eat everything....thats how they survive in the raceways, eat everything and often....pretty sure they eat alota stick...

Re: Thank Shannons :

While I say a big thank you to Shannons for this. I think the timing of the stocking is poor. They should have waited until November after every googan with a stringer stops fishing until the spring and then stock the fish. These are nice fish that would hold nicely all winter but alot go into buck...

Re: Golfing

As in the horse farm below the bridge or on Fiddler's stretch? The horse farm is a mess, and the owner is someone I wouldn't work for. I've dealt with him in the past. He's got the farm up for sale. After paying $2 million for it, he asked over $7 million last year. Now down to $4.9 and falling. It...

Re: Nj trifecta!!

How are those Maverick's? I been with American Spirits, but damn they are pricey! What is a holdover Brown in NJ now? They haven't stocked them for years, or are you club fishing? Been on mavs for 15yrs now, there cheaper but by no means cheap...no clubs for me, sooo long time holdover, maybe wild ...

Re: Nj trifecta!!

tiger trout is 1/2 brook and 1/2 brown, so you only got a 2.5-fecta. And you need to catch a full brookie or another tiger/brook trout hybrid. LOL i jk great stuff. Rare to get all three together. Haha...cant remeber the last time a got a brookie in this particular stream...theres a chanc...

Re: Pressure

More like a Put, Grow, Take Fishery! How do they taste out of NJ waters? I saw some videos of guys catching lots of smaller ones in late fall/early winter at aeroflex or Waywanda. They were hitting spinners in near freezing water. Only ever kept one or two back way back when....in my experience the...

Re: Five days on the upper Delaware coming up

That's a pretty massive bow! Since its a tail water fishery, does the water stay in the 40-50 degree range all winter, making it fishable even on cold days? This was on the beaverkill...freestone...but still the same mccloud rainbows as on the Delaware system, as the beaverkill feeds the east branc...
