just sport sweatpants, like Adidas. it could be bad if you're standing in water all day and not moving around. You could just get a pair of neoprenes to use whenever it warrants extra warmth.
I wear gym shots and long socks when it's hot but like to still wear waders.

Re: SBR 4-29
While 3 miles really isn't alot for a trout to travel , I highly doubt those stocked bows made up theyer mind to go upstream that far . Looks more like someone made a boo boo.. ..OR someone purposefully put them theyer for him or herself .. Wouldn't be the first time someone greased a hatchery truc...

were you above or below the dam just upstream Schooley's Mtn road? Also isnt there a club somewhere in the middle of the WTS section, and they stock their own fish? Or is that just my misconception?

coincidentally my friend also found a brook trout last week in another trout stream. Where he was just fishing for stocked fish. It too has WTS flowing around it so not surprising but a neat sight

Re: brookies
This time it's an 8th generation former farm that had dairy cows on it until about 30 years ago. They trampled the banks after the farmer removed all vegetation save for grass for pasture for the cows. There is not a lot of native rock in these banks, so they eroded very badly with the channel inci...

>them being pretty unfishable due to angling pressure. That being said, would it be worth my time to check them out? Or should I look elsewhere? you can still catch them in the "popular" / well known brookie streams. Going in the middle of a cold day in winter was a better chance at hitting it with...

Re: Van Campens restoration project.
correct i wasnt around for that, I imagine it was a hidden gem of NJ. I do wish the project helps the fishery, and more importantly hope we see parks in NJ solve some of those issues. My gripe is that Im too tired of parks getting closed down and inaccessible just because they dont have any action-p...

Re: Van Campens restoration project.
As a guy who likes peace and quiet too, i just dont choose to fish waters in actual tourist attractions, lol. yes i find it annoying too but it's the price your gonna pay for having access to a national recreation area. Liter too, id advocate the park admins to figure out how to reduce liter without...

Re: Van Campens restoration project.
lol if it's a national recreation area expect out-of-towners, it's actually a tourist attraction and you're complaining there's too many people. It's like deciding to go bird watching at the Leaning Tower of Pisa and being upset that there's too many people.
