Farm?
Naw, that was probably a typo and they really meant any private property.
Or, they could have really meant a farm.

Re: Pond Rehab and Stocking
I hear snake heads and Asian carp are loads of fun to catch ;) ...The stocking permit..You make an excellent point!! Thanks....but, I still should not need a license to fish a private pond on private property...and how about those tax assessments? As soon as it cools off a bit I will be fishing!!!!...

Re: Pond Rehab and Stocking
So, I find it odd that a permit is needed to stock fish on your own property, as well as needing a licences to fish a private pond on private property....Yes, yes, that pond may be attched to public rivers through streams, but i don't give a shit..private property should be just that, private.....l...

Re: Columbia Dam removal
Question for Rusty Spinner if he sees this.... when these types of dams are removed, is the "lake" area dug out prior to removal to prevent all the crap build-up, silt and otherwise, from washing downstream? If the dam was not there all that crap build-up and silt would have washed downstream on it...

Re: Epic fight with lake trout in a squall
I didn't notice until today the difference in the far shoreline between the first and last photos I posted of this fight. It was pouring in that first shot, but by the final shot when we had hail added to the mix, it was near Biblical rain/hail. The far shoreline is just a darker line in the photo ...

Re: Low water/flow tactics
Too bad Round Valley Rez wasn't designed for deep, cold-water discharges. We could have had a nice little mini-tailwater outlet for a few miles. I heard the water level is down in RV, can anyone confirm? Yes, RV is very low. I believe its either for dam repairs or inspections. Its definitely not fo...

Re: Water Temps
I'm sure the brief break in the heat Saturday will have the "sports" out trying to hammer the trout that have concentrated into the spring seep areas. Many of those “sports” as you call them don’t have a clue what a spring seep area is, unless it is within 20 foot of the nearest bridge or dam. :D

Re: Carp on a fly-rod popper
Was throwing a popper last night on Deal Lake and wound up catching a heavy carp. Was like catching a cross between a striper and an albie, bull dogging and some knuckle busting runs. Great fun - have never done that before. There was a squirrel nearby eating some berrIes on an overhanging tree...I...

Re: Musky "A Frame restoration" project starting soon
Pete - the point I may not have made clear was if the weir does not show up in earlier years, it would be proof it is not a weir built by Native Americans. What was a clear thought process in my mind why anyone would check earlier years of google maps may not have been as easily reached by others. M...

Re: Musky "A Frame restoration" project starting soon
Question (I'm thinking about a different river): Some of those handmade weirs/dams look (kind of) familiar. If a local group/enclave, with some claim to native American roots, asserted that they were made by their ancestors.... If the dam is degrading the river, does the ethnicity of the dam builde...

There is no fish in Spruce Run Creek, move along, nothing to see, go fish the gorge or a 6’ puddle instead.lightenup wrote: ↑Fri Jun 01, 2018 11:36 amStay away from my watertroutfishing4life wrote: ↑Fri Jun 01, 2018 11:26 amThis thread is really funny!
