Re: Poe Paddie pointers

Yes, and had a nice time. Multiple fish, browns, one rainbow, a few chub, bass, and a sheep's head! My first fish on the dry, a gentleman on the bank told me, was a fall fish. The camp ground was great including large trout right outside my tent! The Iso were huge. The Sulphur and yellow SF were big...

Re: Poe Paddie pointers

Thanks, all. It's a great place. I caught fish on nymphs and dries, but most came on streamers in the am. Poe Paddy campground has nice fish right in front of the site, but the bigger fish, naturally, were in long pools with some structure and action a mile or so up and down stream. My dry fly casti...

Here is another shot. I'd say at lease 9 inches. I worked quick to get it back in, but it could have been 11.

I do. Or, save the hook and cut the material off. It seems wasteful to just pitch a good hook.

There's another site about trout fishing in nj? Why? Anyhoo, I spent two hours today on the Musky before my dentist appointment. Man what great weather!

Yes. Two fish caught and then the attempt was made to pull them over the wires. Didn't work.

Nice, broski. Did you hook into the trout at the end of the drift or on the swing?

I had a sudden inspiration to tie up a few Micky Finns. Threw them the other day and has some luck! Go streamers for a change from the little stuff.

Re: Online fly store

Shannon's online business is on hold. Too much jam up in the supply chain. The shop is open and I'm sure curb side pick up would be made available for specific orders. Remember, 530 trout and 300 trout are in the SBR in Califon and Pt. Mountain! Happy new year!

Re: Paulins Kill - Are There Fish in This Section?

Can't speak to if there's any good fishing in that section cause I'm not familiar with it but by looking at tax maps, it looks like just about all of that stretch is fishable from one side or the other. Most of the northern bank is owned by NJ DEP land and some of the southern bank but there is som...
