Hoffman's Crossing Bridge

Everyone be aware there is a cable and large trees lined along the parking lot. I just spoke to the Lebanon township Police and it is apparently legal. I thought it was easement...Be careful as it isn't visible.

Re: Pequest TCA

Ouch!!! Never, and I mean NEVER run from a bear of any species. That indicates to them that you are prey attempting to flee. A bit late obviously. Sorry to hear about the rib and fly box. Black bears will back down 100% of the time, regardless of their size if you stand your ground. I have lived in...

Re: Pequest TCA

Head downstream a half mile. You can thank me later. 8-) Last time I did that I got into fish (stocked browns, that's how long it's been), I also had a big azzed bear wander into the river 50 yards below me. I made a lot of noise and high tailed it in the opposite direction, except I tripped over a...

Re: Last weekend on general waters until the opener

I was poking fun at a terrible situation, I agree with on water etiquette and carry out more then you carried in. Ok, sarcasm, hard to tell through the written word unless I know you. What are you gonna grill and where? Not sure if you know from the "other forum" I am McDonald's chef. Perhaps I cou...

Re: Last weekend on general waters until the opener

I got my coolers and grill ready to setup in the river for some grill wading, saw some people doing that last year. I hate this...Do it at a lake, fishing for ditch pickles and crappie, where it is practical. People have their grills half in the road, leave litter and brother residents. Just my opi...

I always fish one fly. I am not coordinated enough to fish more. I ALWAYS end up with a mess of tippet in knots...sometimes even with one fly.

Covid stocking was fine, however preseason C&R should be artificial or fly, single barbless hook, and that includes lures for spin fishermen.
I agree. Hire a few more C.O.s and write tickets to all the treble gook users...think of how much money the division can make. 🙃😉🤪

Re: 2022 Fishing Digest

We walked across the ice to get to my elementary school each winter because it cut our walk or bike ride by at least 1/3. Now they don't allow school age kids to walk, even if they ...
