Sure I'd be game for something like this.BiggerThomas wrote: ↑Tue Apr 19, 2022 9:36 pmThese responses are making me think back to the 'Boofests from years ago. Drossi, Rollcast, and whoever else out there with a bamboo rod--let me know if you want to hit a stream together.

Sweet stream. Very sweet stick, love the darker cane. What taper and weight is the Elser? I have a 7' 3" Recker done on a Garrison 204e taper that fishes a 4wt, my small stream rod as well.

Re: Unnamed Brookie WTS
A funny thing happened on my way back to the parking lot. Three young African Americans were walking towards me. One was wearing an Easy E t shirt. Now depending on when you grew up, you may or may not recognize that name. If you don't know, Easy E was known as The Godfather of gangsta rap. He died...

Re: Hoffman's Crossing Bridge
This property is only valued at $10,400 and annual taxes a measly $247/year. Shouldn't be too hard to purchase and allow public access. Hmmmm, investment opportunity, buy the parcel and put in a pay to park system. :) This ain't Montana, and that isn't $3 bridge. ;) Damn straight this is NJ and it'...

Re: Hoffman's Crossing Bridge
Not faulting the property owner here, got to do what you got to do, but isnt that spot a state stocking point? and please correct me if I'm wrong, but was the state stocking points on private property brought up a few years back and basically if the state was stocking the area and no private proper...

Re: Come hell or high water
Nice browns by the way-the first ones head looks big compared to its body-perhaps it has outgrown its habitat? I think it was the jacked up way I took the quick photo. But I saw that, my other guess is that he needs to go on the feed and put back on some of the weight lost over the winter. I don't ...

Re: Come hell or high water
Nice! We cancelled our RVTU opening day shenanigans event on the Musky for obvious reasons and planted native willow and dogwood cuttings instead on recently restored Lopatcong Creek. I was surprised how quickly the Lopat had fallen by Saturday morning when I arrived. It would have been very fishab...

Come hell or high water
Well there was plenty of high water on Saturday but I found a WTS running clear. 3 wild browns before I got rained on but a good opener none the less.

Hello, One of the best in Pa. Is the lackawaxen in Pike Cty. The Dyberry just pass Honesdale, Pa. is another. The Dyberry is like Flatbrook in Jersey. I have fished the Lacky a lot when I lived in Pa. and it holds over alot of trout year to year. The best is from the Rowland bridge upstream. If it ...

Re: LV/Flanders area SBRR
Razorbacker I've seen some of the same. Somehow last year all I caught was stockers that shouldn't have been there but swam up I suppose. Otherwise it's been a few years since I've had decent wild brown fishing. But the SBR in general kicks my butt so I'm a bad case study on this. I'm going to try t...

I'm one of those tradition guys so I'll be out, probably for 8am but not a total guarantee. Remembrances of Rivers Past.
