I use a sling pack. I hook my net to it high up with a D-ring and larger retractor. It stays out of the way behind me and I just need to reach back to get it.

When I'm in Shannon's I see people new to fly fishing asking questions all the time and the staff is always very helpful. No snobbery. They are just glad to see your interest in the sport. You could not get more down to earth people than the crew there.

Little black stones and chimarras are done. Small emergers and Frenchies worked today for me. Hendricksons are active and may work but stuck with what I was using as it worked.

I fished 4/19. Sounds like scuds but they were actively taking midges. By the way, lots of Hendricksons today but very few rises.
