No! We had surprisingly few bugs all five days. Some mosquitos and some deer flies, but I never used bug spray of any type and wasn't slapping at my exposed skin all day. We got lucky!

So, is anyone still getting out to tailwaters, spring creeks or the smaller and cooler streams for trout or are we all now focused on other species to chase? Nice. I've never targeted them this late. I see how skinny they are post spawn, but that weight will go back on once they start filter feeding heavily once again. They are a blast on a 7 weight!
