Our brookies and browns at the very least should be cutting a rug by now. I am looking at possible impairments of a tributary in the northwest part of the state on Sunday and will be looking for any brook trout redds. What are others seeing if out?

Purely speculation on my part, but they likely state stock it with trout and it would be too warm in summer for them to survive.

I was asked to keep quiet about the preservation effort until the ink dried. Yes, the dam is being removed at some point. I do know my firm will be bidding on the work. Funding should be in place or nearly so.

I use River Data for my IPhone and I use several weather apps because I find so many times, one or more is wrong. When in doubt, I go to My Radar which is my # 1 weather app.

Things look pretty good for this fall season with all the recent rain. Any recent fishing reports? Mostly, yes. Oftentimes, our best action came when we skittered the dries on top. Wild brookies can't ignore a skittering fly.
