wanted to enjoy this 55* day before the cold snap runs thru. So fished my home to me waters on the ramapo. Hooked onto a few. But was only able to land 1.
Water was flowing @ 600 cfm's today. So it was moving bigtime
getting used to my new set up. This new JDM Diawa ultra lite carbon rod is definitely different then my G-Loomis for sure. But the action is insane. Ultra sensitive & extremely flexible.

Good to see there are holdovers, nice catch. I should give it a try sometime, it's a fairly short ride for me.

Its not a bad stretch of water for sure. Extremely low pressure fishing @ this time of the year. I had to keep it local that day. Didnt feel like driving up further north to the Big 5. I know the water is still rather high & rippin
