Feels like winter! woo

Nice change of pace with these temps, but uuuuuuugh more water please!
Here's a few wild trout from this weekend.

I explored a new spot, I should stick to my "1 mile" rule when looking at a map for blue lining: if the creek isnt at least a mile long it probably isnt worth trout fishing.
Because this headwater creek was waay skinny. More leaves than water.
Despite this low water it houses some micros/shiners. even if i had tanago hooks i think i would have struck out lol.

Anyways I swung over to a known creek and saw the fish were spooky but had some cooperation. I tried a new stretch of a familiar creek too and saw more spooky fish.

Beautiful. Glad to see you taking advantage of what Nature gives us.
"Most anglers spend their lives in making rules for trout, and trout spend theirs in breaking them."
