Since it has been cool the past few nights I decided to drive up to Big Flat Brook this morning to see if the temp was ok to fish. I hit there around 7:00am and the water was a cool 64 degrees. Since it stay overcast the highest the water temp got to was 66 degrees.
I managed to land 8 rainbows in the time I was there. They ranged in size from 8" to 15".

Nice! How far above the confluence of the LFB were you and how were the water levels? I've been staying away assuming temps a bit to high and water really low.

I was actually below the confluence of LFB. I was planning on heading further upstream but never made it.

Hit the Flatbrook at sunrise both Friday and Saturday. Dry fly action during the trico spinner fall.
