How are the temps

Anyone been out and fishing lately. Curious how the water temps have been and if there are any bugs out

Yes, we finished that project last Thursday, a week ago today. It came out great. We worked on their privately owned water, not any of their leased waters. Wild brookies and browns, yes. Down lower on the mainstem Lackawaxen, they have mostly wild browns and stocked rainbows I believe. That is their leased water. They have a lot of NJ members. I also live in Morris County, and it takes me about 1 hour and 40 minutes to drive there. They also have plans to build 3-4 cabins on this stretch on one of their properties where we did work. We built them a very nice, gravel driveway under our PennDOT permits for just that at what they would call Site 4.

The West Branch is great ephemerella water! I used to fish the Lackawaxen a fair amount back in the late 80's to mid 90's, from Prompton dam down to the big D. I much preferred Prompton to Hawley, I know the lower river had bigger fish but we almost drowned there once, that peaker station scared me. That river used to have a fantastic Hendrickson hatch.
