Fishing was super slow on saturday on the south branch

Tried the Vanoy Rd area Tuesday. Water is clear and the flow is diminished. However, no luck. I did catch a couple of small rainbows last week off River Rd below Shannons.

For the most part, the Vernoy stretch lacks deep pools, so not a great place to focus for winter trout. Remember, low and slow this time of the year.....
