Looks like 2018 was the wettest year for NJ since they started to keeping records in 1895! Hopefully the trout streams start to rebound. It has been depressing to hear about the decline in population of wild trout in the past few years.

Let's hope it was the first year of a sustained cycle of greater than avg precipitation. Our streams are extremely fragile when it comes to multiple years in a row of poor conditions.
