Anyone Hit A No Kill Stretch This Weekend?

Did you find it stocked?

As for myself I was working around the yard, best to get it out of the way ASAP. More time for fishing during prime bug season.

Fished Point Mountain Friday and it has been stocked. A lot of 9-11 inchers but they did put some bigger fish in.

Point got some huge fish during that last stocking. And they got a lot as it was for the pre-season stocking when that TCA is the only open water on that river other than private clubs with the approval of the Division, both of which are strictly C&R until Opening Day at 8am.

Fished the southern PA opener. Never seen so many people fishing. Fishing was okay the first 30 minutes got 4 bows and then the bite just died.

Hit the gorge on Friday. It was well stocked with trout and people. There seemed to be a person fishing every 10 feet from memorial rock on down.

I went to point mountain...good fishing and the dead raccoon that floated by my leg scared the bejeezus outta me.

Chilled and soaked in Musconetcong broth, with a side of rusty spinner sauce. (we froze some last hatch.)
