Hit the upper SBR today

Post by SBRtool » Mon Oct 14, 2019 3:12 pm

Got out for the first time this fall and hit the upper SBR on my day off and wow do we need rain. This section of the river fished well in the Spring...was finding fish in the Spring really spread out and in all sorts of nooks and crannies with all the rain we had than but now its just a trickle. Some spots that held fish in the spring is literally ankle deep now. Guess its to be expected with how little rain we've bad but was still discouraging. Did manage to get two wild browns but also managed 5000 leaves. Only fished for about an hour and a half, the frustration level with the leaves had me calling it quits early but was still nice to be out for a bit.
