Caught this guy enjoying his breakfast on the spillway at the hatchery this morning.

And that's why we can't have nice things , like brown trout.

Hard for me to see... that an eagle?

While some here would love to kill all the otters, mink, mergansers, egrets, herons, ospreys, eagles and other fish predators, I say wildlife first. We put out tons of easy prey twice a year, and you're surprised it attracts predators? Personally, watching a predator stalk a meal makes me stop fishing and smile that they are still here.

Let them have at'm, we'll make more.
