Nice fish...my first tiger trout, been fishing 40 plus years...
Took a scud in dead still water, sucked it off the bottom.

Im empty in both scenarios. Hope if i hit more brookie-like water in a brown trout stream i can find a wild one. From my understanding theyll be around where brookies are dominate in a stretch where browns take place?Rusty Spinner wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 9:47 amI've caught several stocked tigers, but still no wild tigers in my 47 years fly fishing. Nice fish, LU.
As the old saying goes, it only takes two to tango. So anytime you have both wild brookies and wild browns, you have a chance at wild tigers. Not sure if a preponderance of one species over the other is important or not.coaltrout wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 11:09 amIm empty in both scenarios. "Dating outside your race" makes me wonder about other "sociological" practices that humans and animals share.Rusty Spinner wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 11:48 amAs the old saying goes, it only takes two to tango.
