SBR and WTS 10/8

Post by SBRtool » Thu Oct 08, 2020 6:24 pm

Hit the SBR and a WTS today and man do we need rain. Went to one of my usual spots on the SBR and walked to a hole where you usually cannot see the bottom and the water was crystal clear and you could see straight to the bottom. I could actually see a number of browns and bows in the water. I crept up to the pool and caught a nice brown on the first cast but after that nothing was biting once they were all spooked so decided to hit a nearby WTS and landed a really nice 15 inch wild brown, one of my biggest wild browns ever. Amazes me a fish this size could be living in a creek this small.

Nice fish, tough stuff when the whole hole gets spooked after the first fish. I can definitely relate.
