Lake Waywayanda Ice Out?

As of last weekend it was amazingly still frozen bank to bank. Anyone seen it this week? No answer at the ranger stations and bait shops are not in the loop.

Waywayanda in Vernon is cleared of ice and the lake trout are running shallow.

Went yesterday evening after work, a little breezy at first, fished by the boat launch and then the beach area (no boat) a few people were out on the lake shore w/ one in a canoe, no action for anyone but after 5:30 they're were plenty of risers. Lots of gnats, the most annoying ones to, eyes and ears were not safe from the swarms.
