Another chest wader question: Is Gore-tex worth the premium price over Toray fabric? I do fish one or more days per week, throughout all seasons.

I love my Simms Freestones, which are Toray, they're about 5 years old. I fish a little more often than you but haven't had any issues with performance, including breathability. That includes hot weather as I WILL NOT wet wade.

imo worth every penny
