MikeB, that fly is a zug bug. But don't assume it is a special fly as we are fishing for fresh stocked rainbows, the easiest of all trout to catch. Stocked bows eat nearly anything right now. In time, they will learn to eat aquatic insects. For now, the flash in the peacock herl on a zug bug is all they need to eat. Congrats on putting it all together. I loved seeing the look on my clients' faces when that happened while I was guiding them on the river. :D
