Another little native brookie eating dry flies. This one was picky and only would eat a size 18 sulphur emerger...

L-up, is this a picture of a brookie on a line being reeled in, or is it just rising vertically like it's on roids?

I pulled him up a little to get the picture as I didn't want to take it completely out of the water..

nice sized brookie too? Looks like it's 9 inches from the way you took the photo but probably the perspective is off

probably 7 or 8..it was a little larger than I usually see on the SBR, but not much, very colorful, probably a male. about 10 years ago I got a 12-13 inch wild brookie in the Gorge. I have a pic some where I will post later.
