Another SBR trip 5.22

Post by troutfishing4life » Wed May 23, 2018 8:06 am

Fished today after work on the south branch and was greeted to off color water due to the heavy rains from 11am to 4pm. Finished up with 4 trout today. Also got to fish with Brian the Rusty Spinner for some trout on dry flies but they weren't coming out to play. The last two days I have had some of the best looking fish of the spring.

I stopped upstream on my way home after I left. Fewer sulphurs, but more fish looking up. I landed one, but that was it. Water was likely too high and off colored last night for surface action.
