I am not a boat guy and I dont like having a bunch of rods set out with flutter spoons that you just pick up when a shad hits-If you are ever able to wade out for shad or get out on a rocky point an cast out for shad, then it can be a lot of fun. Its not super finesse fishing like dry fly fishing for trout, but it does take a certain level of angling skill to get your rig down to the right depth.

Caught shad for the first time this year out of the Delaware and let me tell you forget catching trout go catch a shad. Unless you are catching big trout the fight that the shad give you is awesome

I have it on good sources where bubba brown was put. A person who lives on the road asked why the stocking truck was out soooo late? The fish has probably moved by now but, if you want to know, I am accepting bids to reveal the location. :D ;) :shock:

Im sure there are random guys fishing over them without realizing that they are there....and theres pribably a few that are specifically targeting them, but keep in mind , they are big and fat and the water is cold ....they dont really need to put on the feedbag for at least another few weeks....
