Honestly wish the would make the river a TCA from KLG all the Wild trout section of river in long valley.

Lots of wild trout in this section and so many more would come if the lowered the stocking and the pressure dropped

That's Hoffman's Crossing. Wasn't it caught there last year? Looks like the same fish with the scar there.

Look at the trees and plants in the picture everything is green. Thats the early spring not now

Fish probably went straight onto a stringer but people are suppose to C&R the fish to receive the prize

I agree, look at the yellow bloomed bush in the background. I'd bet that picture is from late April. Some of the trees have buds as well.

That's a Forsythia, means the Hendrickson's are hatching...

That's exactly what it is. The old timer farmers used to look to that bloom for when to apply crabgrass pesticides to the grass, as they both bloom around the same time. That's the system I use too!
