Anyone make it out for their first 2022 Trout

I went to a blue line yesterday, caught some wild bows and browns. All on a size 22 blood midge.

Made it out yesterday....only fished fer half an hour, river blown out....shoulda went further north but only had a small window...went one fer two in the high choclate

Went out to a local park pond that was stocked in October. Got trout skunked :cry: . But caught a large mouth bass :lol: :lol:

Nope not 2022 yet but did catch my last trout of 2021 last thursday

I was trying for my last trout of 2021 (would have been my first as well), last week in December during our warm spell but it wasn't to be. Just a panfish. :D
