It depends when it was assessed. There are towns that are not assessed for 30 years and they just change the rate. Some towns assess every year and it is close.lightenup wrote: ↑Fri Apr 15, 2022 3:37 pmDoes property ever sell for it's assessed value? you can still access the fishing water from the other side. Just dont step on the that side of the property line.troutfishing4life wrote: ↑Mon Apr 18, 2022 2:25 pmSaw it in person on Saturday and its sad that has happened!

Re: Hoffman's Crossing Bridge
That makes sense. I have lived in the same house for 20 years. I have been assessed a total of one times. It was a gew years after the real estate crash in 2000 whatever. We had just renovated an 1865 small house. The assessor showed up, I said I didn't do this to sell, I plan on staying, and poined out the still empty foreclosures on my block. My assessments didn't change. I'm still here. Maybe they will come back right before I plan to move and give me a much higher assessment. Give me 10 more years please Thanks joe_panellajoe_panella wrote: ↑Sat Apr 16, 2022 10:38 amIt depends when it was assessed. The scuttlebutt from town is he's been trying to sell this parcel off but hasn't been able to gain any interest. So by denying access to his property, he's hoping someone will offer to purchase it.
Just a bit of guerilla marketing? Post the property right before the opening day of trout season?

Seems that is correct and seems progress is being made towards a purchase that would open the site to the public. But too soon to say. I was in a meeting about this just yesterday (Sunday).the royal coachman wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 5:56 amThe scuttlebutt from town is he's been trying to sell this parcel off but hasn't been able to gain any interest.
