Bump. The weekend will bring air temps in the 90s--with afternoon T-storms--but I plan on fishing the Lower KLG Sunday morning if the water temps are still under 67 degrees.

92-93 degrees predicted for the weekend around here! But stream temps should be okay. The trees are leafed out, so we have shade over our trout waters in most places.BiggerThomas wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 10:58 amBump. I'm usually up for making things interesting, but I think I'll pass on standing in water holding a graphite rod during an afternoon/evening thunderstorm.

I heard the lower lot at KLG was closed for repair work. Will there be enough parking?

No storms for today or this evening. Possible light showers after 1 am, but no thunder and lightening.BiggerThomas wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 12:31 pmI'm usually up for making things interesting, but I think I'll pass on standing in water holding a graphite rod during an afternoon/evening thunderstorm.

It is going to be 95 sat. I'm can't believe it may be an issue in may, but what do we think water temps will be.

Unfortunately, I've already promised to lend it to someone else. But, that would have been a good idea.lightenup wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 3:46 pmSo use yer' Bamboo.BiggerThomas wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 12:31 pmI'm usually up for making things interesting, but I think I'll pass on standing in water holding a graphite rod during an afternoon/evening thunderstorm.

Hopefully we can get a confirmation that the lot is open. As we know, it’s busy on the slowest of days.
I’m hopeful the cool nights will keep the temps fishable, but as Joe said, crazy we have to talk about this in May!! Unfortunately the temperature function for the gauge is off now.

I have it on good information that the temperature gauges haven't worked for quite a while and they probably won't be back up anytime soon. I might just try calling Shannon's to see what the temperature is.Twism86 wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 8:35 pmHopefully we can get a confirmation that the lot is open. How bout just show up and take a temp er three....cant remember the last time i fished without taking a temp...it tells you 60% of what you need to know , no matter what the species....the gauges are a decent guideline, that is allBiggerThomas wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 9:00 pmI have it on good information that the temperature gauges haven't worked for quite a while and they probably won't be back up anytime soon. Or, how about just show up and see what happens... maybe we'll just stand around and tell fish stories

This is great. We're about a six-pack of Keystone away from this becoming an inner-tube float trip down the Raritan...Twism86 wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 10:14 amIll bring the beer..... Wrap your mind around this: beer is not legal in the Gorge. But weed is.Twism86 wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 10:14 amIll bring the beer..... Screw 90+ degrees. I say we get a few cases (of NOT Keystone beer), leave the boo home, and drunk float the Musky all day!BiggerThomas wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 12:59 pmThis is great. We're about a six-pack of Keystone away from this becoming an inner-tube float trip down the Raritan...
