I, on the other hand, landed only a few compliments on my casting. The parking lot was full but it was nice to get out on the river and see the GST Webmaster, Tom Twism.

I did catch a few of these little monsters from a pond I visited while my son was taking tennis lessons tonight. Felt good to hear and see the splashing while I struggled to reel them in :lol:

Summer must be near if big dinner plate sized bluegill are hitting dry flies!

Bluegills are a hoot on light gear. Loads of fun on Tenkara rods.
