Looks like a productive walk!
That big bow looks pretty clean/full finned-holdover or club fish?

Re: Took a walk
No club fishing for me. I'm a cheap bastard and want to retire one day so I save my money. I walked to where most people won't anymore. I think it was a holdover fish, fought very well for a big bow in the rivers around here. No wet towel and reel it in, had few screaming runs on the Winston Perfect reel, for those of you who don't know it is a Hardy Perfect, in Winston Green without the agate ring...
Re: Took a walk
The path is beaten well, people are just lazy, was all by myself on a beautiful day in a very popular stretch of river....Walked past all of the over fished and full spots on my way. I am happy people are lazy for once.
Re: Took a walk

The path can be well beaten but still be off the beaten path. They need not be the same thing.

No doubt, couldn't agree more. As long as I'm ambulatory, I'm going to use it to my advantage.

Deep Thoughts.....and ME!!!!
Might be the 1st time those 2 have ever been remotely associated. I'm obviously doing something wrong now, I'll have to fix that ASAP.

I see you have your fair share of Japanese knotweed.
I've found that in many places -- more so out west than here in east -- that enough people think like you that fishing is often better at a parking spot than 150 feet away.
