When it comes to native brookes, wood is good! Nice catch and report. Seems since the no-kill was established on the Flatbrook that more brook trout have been caught up there the last couple of years.

I caught a couple last week on the lower section, assuming by upper you were above the cement bridge, up near the stone bridge.
Hopefully they are making a comeback throughout the habitable sections of the entire FB system.
