Giving back to TU & the River

I dont want to hear that I dont give back to TU or the River ;) :lol: :lol: . I found this in the river. I dont use Joe Flies Spinners. So I put it on the peg board. I hope the TU chapter over there doesnt get bent out of shape :lol: :lol: :lol:

WTF is that abomination? Does it actually catch trout or only the stupid stockies?

Next time I'm out on the Broadhead I'll put a proper fly on that board. :!:

I always see these snagged in the rivers. So I guess they work. Idk as I dont use spinners like these. I mite use a panther martin # 0 maybe 4 times a year :lol: . This is what I found in the river. So I just stuck it up there and left it :lol: .

This was also McMichael Creek ;)

wouldn't know. I use barbless hooks when I fish ;) . If I cant switch them. I just file the barb off :!:

Use small surgical clamps to smash down your barbs in a half second. Doubles as a perfect hook removed if you get one deep or that doesn't want to cooperate and you are trying to release the fish.

Never have deep hooked a trout with the spinner always very easy to get the hooks out
especially with pinched down barbs they shake right off
